Yesterday we scrubbed it down, it was so dirty that it looks like a different boat. After washing it down we flipped it over to measure the seats so that we could get wood to replace the seats that are currently cracked or broken.
Last year our motor ran, but it didn't run very well or very consistently. We decided to take it in to get it fixed and tuned up. After what is turning out to be a ridiculous amount of money, we will have a motor that should run well for us this summer and many summers to come.
Michael can't wait for this Saturday when we will probably go out for the first time. I am pretty excited too - I just like being out on the water!
