Easter Weekend

He is Risen!!

Jesus spent a week that he did not deserve,
so that we could spend an eternity that we don't deserve!

On Saturday morning I colored eggs with the kids, we finished before 9:00 and then took off to the glasses store to get Davids glasses adjusted, which is a weekly occurrence, then we went to get shoes for Sarah and then headed off to the library t0 get a bunch of books. We did all this and then got home by 11:00! I was impressed:-)

Sunday morning we got up early and went and had breakfast at church. They typically have breakfast at church on Easter morning and the proceeds go to help fund the missions trip to Guatemala later on in the year. After breakfast we had a wonderful church service and then it was off to my parents house for dinner and April birthday celebrations.

April Birthdays

It was a BEAUTIFUL day and the cousins all had a great time playing outside. After dinner we had our annual egg hunt for the kids, that my sister puts together. Everyone accept Michael had a fun time searching for eggs. Michael decided that he wasn't going to do it this year, even though he kept pointing out the hiding eggs to his cousin Will, but then was sad when he didn't get candy...I think he will reconsider for next year:-)

No one wanted to leave Grandma and Grandpa's, David wanted to stay there for 5 days! Both David and Sarah fell asleep on the way home. It was a grand day of celebrations for all!
