Surprisingly, taking Jeremy to the airport this time was relatively painless. His flight is always in the evening, so usually there seems to be a cloud over the whole day he is leaving. This time it was like any other day, there were no tears leading up to the airport and the kids just said good-bye like it was what we always do.
Don't get me wrong, we still miss him like CRAZY, but after 5 months, I think we have just gotten used to the pattern, that Dad leaves for a while and then comes home. I am glad, because this should make the next 5 months all the easier!
