February 27th - Jeremy left for London
Yes, Jeremy left for London England on February 27th. He was picked to go there and help train drivers and help UPS get ready for the huge increase in package volume that the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics will bring to London. This was a huge honor, he was one of three people from the United States picked to go. It is also a big commitment on our part - he is there about 3 weeks out of the month and then comes home for a week. He will continue this till the end of September.

March 17th - David's fun St. Patrick's Day project
David brought home the sweetest project from school. They really encourage kids in school to write things and spell them like they sound and not worry about if it is correct.
So in honor of St Patty's day they had to write what they would do if they found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow...
If I found a pot of gold I would...

It made me smile!

March 22nd - Jeremy comes home
Jeremy came home a day earlier than he normally would have, so that he could go on a field trip with Michael's class. They went to the Science Museum of Minnesota. The following week the kids were on Spring Break. We didn't really do anything accept spend time together as a family.

April 1st - Jeremy goes back to London
All too soon it was time for him to leave again, I think it was actually harder the second time than the first. The first month he was in a hotel and we were able to Skype almost everyday. When he got back the second time, they had moved in to flats, aka apartments, and they didn't have wireless internet, so Skyping didn't work. That was hard not seeing him. We still talked on the phone, but there is something about seeing their face!

April 8th - We were all sick for Easter
Yup, the Thursday before Easter 2 of the 3 kids came down with fevers and colds. By Saturday, I wasn't feeling well either! So we spent Easter in our comfy clothes at home. It was kind of sad. We had a wonderful family from church that brought us some food Sunday afternoon and then my Parents also brought down some Easter leftovers and dessert that night.

April 10th - Flowers from Jeremy
My wonderful husband knew I had a REALLY rough few days with being sick and missing out on Easter celebrations so he sent me a little something...
I love this Man!

April 15th - Delayed Easter Egg hunt
Because we were sick on Easter, the other cousins decided to delay the annual Easter Egg hunt so that everyone could be apart of it. The twist this year for the older kids, was that their eggs had their names on them and they could only find those eggs. The younger 4 kids could find any eggs.

Just before the hunt begins...

Me and my niece Patience - she is my girl!

Michael trying to climb the tree and get the egg above his head!
We ended up enlisting the help of his Uncle to get the egg down.

Story time with Grandpa...

April 25th - Sarah's school field trip
I went to the Dodge Nature Center Farm with Sarah's preschool class for a field trip. It was pretty fun, we got to ride the bus to and from, and then we saw lots of animals and animal babies while at the farm.

Sarah and her buddy Lincoln - so excited to be on the bus!

Animals we saw...

Getting ready to feed the chickens!

Playing in the Hay Pit!

April 27th - Jeremy comes home
Not only was it a special day because Jeremy came home again, but it was his birthday!!!  His 40th birthday to be exact:-) The kids had fun coloring a poster to take to the airport when we picked him up.
We had planned to visit friends up north for the weekend, so his plane landed at 3:30pm and I already had the truck packed and we went right from the airport to Up North!

On Saturday someone brought horses over, so we were able to ride horses it in the woods. I would LOVE to have land and horses some day!!  It was a little chilly, but we were dressed for it so it really wasn't bad at all. Our kids didn't realize that horses really were that big:-) They had fun, as you can tell, by the smiles on their faces.

Sunday after church and lunch,
the kids were put to work painting birdhouses!
They had a lot of fun and took it very seriously.

We had a great weekend with great friends and got home late Sunday night. We kept the kids home from school on Monday so that we could spend more time with Dad.

Jeremy was able to attend Michael's first soccer practice of the season as well as Track and Field day for Michael.

Michael was in need of a new bike because the boy just won't stop growing!  When looking at bikes, one size up from his current bike just didn't seem like it would last him very long. We ended up getting him a 24" bike!  It is crazy, but he has no problems riding it!
David has also moved up a size in bikes!

May 6th - Jeremy goes back to London
We had such a good week with Jeremy home, it was hard to let him go back! We have a temporary fix to the Internet problem so we have been able to Skype now once or twice, but the signal is not very good so that makes it a little more difficult. Hopefully they will get the kinks worked out soon.

May 8th -  Michael does the 1/2 mile run at school
Michael got 3rd place in his class, running the 1/2 mile, that is twice around the track. This was his final lap and him going in to get his place number. He ran the whole way!

After he had finished and rested for a bit, there was a classmate who was not doing so well, he had sat down on turn one of his second lap around the track. Michael's PE teacher sent him and another one of Michael's friends to go and help their classmate finish! They both took off running to help and ran the whole rest of the way with him, with everyone cheering them on!! I am so proud of him!

May 13th - Mothers day
I had a wonderful Mothers day, I have been blessed with good kids and a wonderful husband. Jeremy had flowers delivered yesterday!  They smell wonderful.

This morning I received cards and gifts from the kids, lotion, packs of seeds, and an art project that David had made at school.

After church we went out and met my parents and a couple siblings for lunch. It was a beautiful day and we ate outside by a water fountain!

We finished off the day with a bike ride and some pop corn... Perfect!!

Well, I think that is about it, if you are still reading at this point, you must really want to know about our lives - stay tuned for more of our adventures...
