Vacation #3 (Part 2)

After the family reunion we went to a hotel with a water park to spend some more time with family. The kids had no idea that the hotel had a water park - that was a fun surprise, all we told them was that we had a special room with bunk beds!

Can I just say, that ALL hotel rooms for families should be like this! We had a nice living room area, a bedroom with a king sized bed and a room with 2 sets of bunk-beds for the kids, and grandma:-)

It was wonderful!!! We swam for a couple hours Saturday night and then again on Sunday, because our wrist bands for the water park were good till 4:00pm even though we had to check out at 11:00

There were two slides for the big people, one you needed an inner tube to go down, the other you didn't. They also had a lazy river that you could float and swim down.

Because David was so light, he almost always ended up coming out backwards - that didn't stop him, the tube was about as tall as he was, and he was so determined. He carried it up the stairs again and again, so that he could go down!

His dismounts were slightly scary looking, because he would plop down the hole and then lift the tube up over his head - he had it down though...

This was our first water park ever, and the kids are very excited

for the next time we get to go to another one!
