Michael came home about a week ago with a project that we were supposed to work on together and then return to class. What we needed to do was disguise Tom Turkey as a different animal or character in hopes that he would be able to avoid being caught for Thanksgiving dinner!
So here he is before we did anything with him:
Our first idea was to make him look like a pile of spaghetti by gluing noodles on him, but then Michael brought up a very good point, that spaghetti is also food so he might be eaten anyway!
We then decided to make him a knight - we used fabric, tin foil and felt to create this wonderful work of art - we had a lot of fun working on it together.
